Learn How to Paint DAHLIA DANCER with Acrylic – Paint and Sip at Home – Fun Step by Step Tutorial

VIDEO DESCRIPTION This painting tutorial will take you through easy to follow, step-by-step instructions on how to paint this surreal dancer portrait image of “DAHLIA DANCER” with acrylic paint. You’ll learn simple painting techniques that will help you to develop a realistic portrait of a woman with high heels dancing across a stage wearing a beautiful gown made to look like a realistic dahlia flower. The smoky spot light and large shadow on the floor will create depth in the room with a distant wall receding as it gets out of focus. This female figure is poised and posed in her most dramatic position with her hair being flung to show movement and her legs and arms in a way that shows she is in motion. She looks like a professional model that is either performing a flamenco, ballroom, salsa or contemporary dance to a captivated audience. Imagine the space to be a dance studio, performing stage, or an auditorium where the light is coming from many spotlights casting a glow on the lady and her flower. The painting will come to life with the dimension on the clothing and on her skin as you learn how to add shape and form by building layers of color on the legs, arms and petals with the use of properly placed highlights and shadows. You’ll also learn how to paint a large, dissipated shadow on the floor using a scrubbing, or scumbling technique. The painting will look natural and 3d with the realistic elements, and certain pieces will appear to pop out of the canvas with a real photo quality. With perfectly proportioned body parts and realistic form in the calves, ankles and feet, the feminine person will look like she’s ready to flit off the stage on her tippy toes. The brilliant color on the large delicate floral design, gives the piece a lively sense of beauty with a poetic feel. With the construction of the composition you’ll learn to paint this realistic looking dreamy image with a gorgeous Dahlia flower being used to represent a large flowing dress. Creativity is always encouraged, just have fun with it! This painting is sure to impress the viewer and compliment the décor of any room. Using only 3 brushes and 5 colors we’ll create this conversational masterpiece with a magnificent lively dancer and a charming tranquil beauty. So, let’s get painting and let’s get sipping!
